Screen Flashes Black When Editing Slides

While editing slides or trying to play them back the screen will flash black and sometimes completely black out the slide editing screen. This makes working with content almost impossible.

I have uninstalled the software and reinstalled it but the issue remains unchanged.

Please try the following steps to see if they can resolve the issue or not:

  • In Start Page, click Preferences (the Gear icon).
  • In the Preferences dialog, click the Miscellaneous tab.
  • Check the Use software rendering instead of GPU rendering option.
  • Click OK and restart the program.
