Hello,
Environment:
- OS: macOS 15.3.2 (24D81)
- App Version: ActivePresenter 9.3.0 – 64-bit build (Released: 2025.04.08)
Description:
When configuring a Fill in Text Entries question, pressing Enter after typing a value in the Correct Values field of the Interactivity tab unintentionally triggers Text-to-Speech under the Audio tab. The text entered is automatically converted into speech and added to the project, even though this behavior is not desired or manually initiated.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Open ActivePresenter (Version 9.3.0 – 64-bit).
- Create or open a project.
- Insert a Fill in Text Entries question slide.
- Go to the Interactivity tab.
- In the Text Entry section, type a value into the Correct Values field.
- Press Enter to confirm the value.
Expected Result:
The value should be confirmed in the Correct Values field without any additional actions triggered.
Actual Result:
The Text-to-Speech feature under the Audio tab is automatically triggered. The typed text is converted to audio and added to the project timeline.
Impact:
This unintended behavior interrupts the workflow, creates unnecessary audio clips, and requires additional steps to remove them. It is especially problematic when repeatedly entering multiple correct values.
Question:
Is there a global setting to permanently disable this Text-to-Speech auto-trigger behavior when pressing Enter in the Correct Values field?
