Unable to install AP 9.3

Problem: I’m unable to install AP 9.3, which was just released. I’ve tried the update from within AP and also downloaded the installer and tried but I keep getting the same error (see screenshot.) I’ve tried running the installer as an Administrator, same result. There is an option to “Skip this file…” (avcodec-59.dll) and when I do that, it throws the same error but for a different file (avfilter-8.dll).

OS: Windows 11 (24H2)

I had to uninstall the current version and reboot my PC, and then I was able to install 9.3.

Hi,

It’s good to hear that you were able to resolve the issue yourself. The issue occurred because the old ActivePresenter session was not completely closed, so restarting your computer was the right solution.
