ToC section auto-expand/collapse

Hi,

Can we have a feature expanding the current section and collapse remaining ones.
Example:
I have a ToC where 4 sections are there, having multiple topics in each one. On the page I have 4 buttons pointing to each section in first topic of ToC.
Now, if I click 2nd button, the second section topics expand in ToC and other sections are collapsed.
Now, Say I have a hyperlink from section 2 pointing to section 4. When I use it, section 4 topics expand and other sections including 2nd section ToC collapse.

Currently, we have a setting whether to expand or collpse entire ToC.

Is there any way to do it now? I don’t have programming background. I suppose scripting will be needed for this. Any suggestions, please?
