Two thing strange: 1) the symbol and its exported file is actually named “symbol-dolphin”
but its name change to “small boat” automatically,
although it looks like a dolphin.
2) as you can see, after this “symbol-dolphin” drag onto the canvas,
it becomes invisible, but it is selectable,
so I can select it then choose “Edit symbol”,
then see that it is really a “dolphin”.

In short, symbol is a child document of a project. It also has full components (such as scenes, independent timelines, interactive capabilities…) like the main document. To edit a symbol, you can double-click or right-click it and select Edit Symbol as guided in the video.

It seems that you accidentally selected both “dolphin” and “small boat” and converted them to a symbol.
