Problem: Again this is chalking up to my lack of experience and newness to Saols. Here is the problem. When I export to HTML and then insert the HTML package on an Active Presenter slide, the size is too small and ther is a sasted white area below my morject. I’ve tried the various sizing options such as the Zoom level, the container size, and so forth, but keep makint it worse. I like the size of the parts when at 100% in Saola they are way too small in Active Presenter. How can I select just the part of the orange background that I want to fill the container in Active Presenter when I import it? I’ve attached the Saola scene as well as a screenshot of what I see in AP. Odometer4.zip (609.8 KB)
Thank you for sending the file with the detail description about your case.
The imported web object size (width/height) is the same as the Saola Animate exported HTML5 size (width/height).
If you see the web object too small in ActivePresenter, you can click on it on the Canvas > drag the resizing handle (green dots) to match the orange background with the Canvas.
I thought that as well, but I’m not getting the same size at all. In the attached are the two images - In_Saola which is set at 100%, and the one I see in In_AP with it zoomed to the top and bottom of the container. Part of the problem is the large white area at the bottom of the import in AP that prevents me from zooming any farther inside the container. I don’t get that white area with the world icon in the Saola version. As you can see, the print is quote readable in the Saola version but is all very small in the AP version.
Are there some settings in Saola I can set to avoid that white bar at the bottom and make the image the same size after I export
For your information, the white bar at the bottom of the web object, while visible on Canvas, doesn’t affect the output. It’s just a display image.
You can drag the web object to match the orange background to the Canvas. See the video below for a better understanding:
If you don’t want the white bar to show on Canvas, you can adjust the web object display in the preview dialog. Resize the Insert Web Object dialog to fit the content as in the video below:
