Show Object Function as YouTube-Video in a Popup-Window

Problem: Show Object Function as YouTube-Video in a Popup-Window

ActivePresenter version: 9.1.5

OS: Win 10

Notes: Need on a process map several videos for detail explanation. I made a invisible button on top of an area in the map. Then I add Shjow Object by click. The question: Where can I add the YouTube-URL in this steps?? Do I have to open a new slide with every video?
Many thanks Roland

Hi,

This video tutorial could be just what you are looking for:

Regards,

This was a fast response Hang! Many thanks.
This step I have already found out. But this opens a new page, not a popup-window like a frame.

See my idea.

Hi Roland,

Let’s try the following steps:

You insert the button i and the YouTube video objects into the canvas from the Insert tab first.

Then, right click the YouTube video on the canvas and choose Initially Hidden. This will make your video(s) hidden when learners first access the map slide. The video(s) will only appear after you trigger the Click event at the i button.

Now, set the events-actions for the i button.
You will add the On Click event, then Toggle Visibility actions like in the following image:

You should add the Fade In and Fade Out effects for the YouTube video to appear smoother.

The result will be like this:

Let me know if this is what you expect.

Muuch closer, but I guess, one detail is not good enough: see my attachment.

When run the video it appears automatically after a few seconds…without any button trigger:)

sorry for this cumbersome act:)

best

Roland

Please make sure you have checked the Autoplay option in the following dialog:

Please try testing again to see if it works like I tried from my side.
BR,
