Problem: Restore recording after programm crashed

ActivePresenter version: 8

Hello there

I was recording a meeting for approximately 2 hours, at some point i clicked the ‘‘pause the recording’’ button. My recording was on pause, for at least 5 minutes. Then i clicked the ‘‘stop recording’’ button without pressing the ‘‘resume the recording’’ button in order to save it.
Immediately the programm crashed for 10 minutes so i had to close it.

I tried the method you are referring in other posts (C:\Users<your_user_name>\Documents\ActivePresenter.ActivePresenterCachedProjects),it has some files there, but not the one i am looking for.

Is anything we can do to restore it?

Hi,

Kindly take note that ActivePresenter is mainly designed for creating training tutorials that normally have a duration of fewer than 1 hour.
If you want to record a long session, please make sure that you have sizable free disk space, and use the H.264 video codec for recording. (see detail at Work with Recording Settings Dialog in ActivePresenter 8)
If you don’t find the recording files in the above folder, there is no way to recover them, unfortunately.
