Many a times, during lectures, the professor steps away and the screen is still recording. Now, this has to be manually edited to remove parts where neither screen is changing nor anyone speaking.
Is there a programmatic way to remove all such slides/video & audio portions from the capture?
Thanks for your suggestion, Rakesh.
At this time, we are working on many other higher-priority tasks on our roadmap that we need to focus on first.
We will consider your suggestions when we have more resources and time available.
So, you can remove unwanted slides or audio & video ranges manually now.
If the screen doesn’t change, having the same screen shown will help compress the video to a very large extent. This is such a useful feature in case of presentation where the slide is same and the audio is changing (as the person is speaking).
Thanks for your feedback.
Just to inform you, the video encoding phase has already processed this problem, but it’s not perfect. It can be improved, but it may require a lot of resources.
