Old version mentions using email to send report but not the current version

I was reading questions about the report capabilities and got answers from the old forum but it seems not applicable.
I tried to send the report to an email address but it gets stuck and does not do anything. Is the email report still avaibable. Is there a specific format to enter the email address beside the typical someone@someplace.com?

Hi,

Sending report via email is not reliable because it just open the email client on user’s computer and pre-fill the email body.
So we have dropped that reporting method in recent versions.

You should use SCORM or xAPI and import the HTML5 output into an LMS for better reporting capabilities.

OK.Thanks. Email is not always a problem. We are using smartsheets and Buzz. I am not sure yet how to link to them.
