Hello,
I am currently using Linguatec Voice Reader Studio 22 as TTS model in ActivePresenter, where the model is integrated in the “Insert”>“Audio”>“Create new” feature of ActivePresenter. I want to replace this model with a more “modern-sounding” voice. Which other offline TTS models can be integrated in ActivePresenter10?
Regards,
Hanna
Hi Hanna,
ActivePresenter 10 doesn’t include or recommend a particular offline TTS model. For offline use, it can load third-party voices installed on your computer that are SAPI 5-compatible. So you can try another voice provider, but check that the specific voice supports SAPI 5 before purchasing or installing it; voices using other interfaces may not appear in ActivePresenter.
Additionally, as an unofficial workaround, some users have had success exposing Windows Natural Voices as standard SAPI 5 voices using third-party bridge/adapter tools. While this is an unofficial method and not officially supported or tested by us, you might want to look into it if you’d like to explore that route.
Cloud voices such as Amazon Polly, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure are also available in ActivePresenter, but they require an internet connection and therefore aren’t offline alternatives.
Regards,
