Objects in master slide to the front

Problem:
I have over 300 slides in a project, all of which have a different background image. To keep the project small, I do not merge the background with the slide but I keep a jpg as an object in the back. This seems to save roughly one Mbyte per slide.

My problem is that I use objects in the master to appear in all slides. Is there a way to put them in the front for each slide?

You should not merge image object into slide background, but set the slide background in Properties so that file size doesn’t increase.
