Merge audio, but keep silence in between

Hi there,
Can someone tell me how to merge audio snippets while filling the gaps between the snippets with silence?

Hi Felix,

Normally, if you join audio objects, the space between them will be removed, and no silence is created.
However, you can try doing this trick to see if it addresses your concern.

  1. Place the Playhead at the end of the previous audio object > click Insert Time to add silence.
  2. Adjust the silence duration as you wish.
  3. Select the next audio object or the audio object row on the Timeline > Join Audio/Video Objects.

If you have multiple audio objects, repeat steps 1 and 2 before selecting all of the audio objects and joining them together. By doing so, the silent gaps will be filled between them.
