Problem: Changing one keyframe for line length changes other keyframe lengths
Saola Animate version: 3
OS: Win 10
Notes: I have a line that I rotate and lengthen over time. The rate of change is not constant, so I put in several keyframes to control growth.
The problem is that when I change the value of one keyframe to fine tune things, keyframes on either side are changed by the program, throwing the whole sequence off. I change them, and then others get changed.
Like a game of Whack a Mole. Very annoying.
It seems that you don’t put the Playhead at the keyframe location in the Timeline.
Just place the Playhead at the exact keyframe location in the Timeline to see it works.
Kindly see the attached below for more understanding of my point:
If you place the Playhead at the exact keyframe location in the Timeline > change the Line Length keyframe value in the Properties pane > only that keyframe changes the value.
In case you follow the instructions but it doesn’t work correctly, please share a video illustrating the issue so we can support you better.
I’m not sure that was the problem, but I can’t replicate it now either.
I’m really impressed with the software in general, although it is taking a bit of time to get up to speed (I seem to recall that Blender uses a different worflow).
The amount of animation control available is amazing. I’m looking forward to trying out the morphing and Sprites.
I completely understand the learning curve when getting used to new software.
Saola Animate does indeed offer a lot of powerful features, and it’s great to hear that you’re excited to explore the animation control, morphing, and sprite sheet.
