Here is a great example of the power of ActivePresenter to accomplish your goals in the eLearning space.
In this sample - I created a very straight-forward game using the periodic table. You must enter the symbol for the element that is presented.
There is nothing special about that part except maybe the random nature of it.
The real interesting part of this sample is the live leaderboard.
Who can get the highest score in 60 seconds?
Features of this quiz/game…
60 second countdown timer
Random presentation of 118 Elements from the periodic table
Enter initials for submission to the high score table
Table is automatically ranked
Score submission is automatically done when timer runs out
Scores persist and are visible to all
Five scores to start the table but it will show the top 10
Time to see if you can knock down the top spot - AAA
Had a chance to test this out of my environment and it appears I have a couple of tweaks to make.
I had no issues from home with Brave browser but now - away from home - there are some issues with resetting the page, sending report, and allowing entry of initials.
Unfortunately - investigation will need to wait until I return home.
I will keep everyone posted.
I believe I have fixed the issues I discovered.
One noticeable improvement is the addition of a New Game button.
Manually choosing a new game allows you to see your score both on the stage and in the table before choosing to start a new game.
This allows better performance when sending the report.
I would appreciate any feedback on performance now from those who already tried it. I believe it works better.
