Lag in playing animations in timeline

Problem:
I can see a tremendous lag while playing animations in timeline. I have to export the file to check the animations everytime.

ActivePresenter Version:
ActivePresenter Pro Edition
Version 8.0.7 - 64-bit build. (Released: 2020.05.29).

OS: Windows 10 Enterprise. 64 Bit.

Hi,

Does this issue happen with every project or just a specific one?

Can you please share the project which has the issue and its external data folder named in the PROJECT_FILE_files if any so we can check?

If these files are large, you can upload them to a cloud storage site like Google Drive then email to support@atomisystems.com.

I am facing the same issue. I have checked old projects which had perfect playback of animations during editing. They are not performing the same. I thought it might be an issue with CPU or RAM. I have also tried to give AP higher process priority and stopped all antivirus SW and anything else that could affect performance. Would like to know if there is anyway to fix this sudden lag issue.

I unchecked the use software rendering instead of GPU rendering. Restarted AP and the animations have become smooth again. Updating this post in case this is the correct fix and if it can help others.
