Issue with Using Arrow Keys and Shift for Object Movement

Dear ActivePresenter Support Team,

I have a question regarding object positioning using keyboard shortcuts.

When I want to move an object (such as a shape or text caption), I usually use the arrow keys to nudge it precisely in any direction β€” this works well.

However, when I press Shift + Right Arrow, instead of moving the object faster to the right (as I expected), it actually resizes the object horizontally. I tried using Shift with other arrow keys too, and it seems to scale the object rather than move it.

My question is:
Is there a shortcut to move objects faster (in larger increments) using the keyboard?
In other tools, Shift is often used to move faster, but in this case it seems to behave differently.

Looking forward to your guidance.

Best regards,

Hi @BurhanBey

Instead of Shift+Arrow key, you can using Ctrl+Arrow key to move object faster

On my Mac keyboard, using the key next to Shift (labeled β€œalt” ) together with the Arrow keys worked, and I’m happy it finally worked! :slightly_smiling_face:
