Inserted audio disappears when I record screen

Problem: After I’ve inserted an audio file from an external source (which works fine) if I then try to record the screen the inserted audio file disappears from the timeline.

ActivePresenter version: 8

OS: Windows 10

I’ve obviously misunderstood something pretty fundamental because the inserted audio reappears in the timeline only when I select the original default slide. You don’t seem to be able to have different slides at different points in the timeline.

Hi,

Each slide has a separated timeline.
You can make the inserted audio show over multiple slides by right-clicking it > Play over Multiple Slides.

Otherwise, you can copy the inserted audio from the first slide and paste it to another slide you want.
Or insert audio directly into the slide containing the recorded video (Select the slide > Insert tab > Audio).
