How can I create a question where learners click on misspelled words in a sentence?

Hi,

I’m creating an English exercise in ActivePresenter where students see a sentence and need to click on the misspelled words to mark them. Looks like:

I’d like to know which question type or interaction is best suited for this task.
Ideally, the learner should be able to click directly on the incorrect words within the sentence (for example, The cat run very fastly yesterday. → “run” and “fastly”).

Is there a built-in question type for this (like “Select Text”) or do I need to simulate it using Hotspot or Multiple Response questions?
If possible, I’d also appreciate any tips or examples on how to set it up efficiently.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

There isn’t a built-in question type like this in ActivePresenter, but you can try adding a text box beneath the question to achieve a similar result.

Regards,

i have created a question type long time ago with another program, which is not existing anymore. You can put every single word as text in a button. When the studen clicks on the right word the button is changing the colour (for example by put another object with another colour over the button and you deactivate the old button. Also the click on that button is adding one point to a variable called “checkvariable”.
Under the task there has to be also button for checking, if every right soloution was marked/ clicked. The button for example is checking for example if the number 3 of the checkvariable is fullfilled. If yes then the presentations continues to the next slide.
