Problem: Highlights in videos disappear in video or HTML or SCORM export

ActivePresenter version: ActivePresenter Pro Edition
Version 8.5.4 - 64-bit build. (Sortie: 2021.11.18)

OS: windows 10

Notes:
This problem already existed in version 7 and in the free versions.

Hi,

Can you please try to turn on/off full color range setting by below steps:

  • In Start Page, click Preferences (the Gear icon).
  • In the Preferences dialog, select the Miscellaneous tab.
  • Check or uncheck the Use JPEG color range when exporting video option.
  • Click OK.

It works. This option should be disabled by default, right?

Hi Christ59,

It depends on hardware and playback applications, on some specific ones, disabling will make the white colors become darker. However, it seems to be good for popular browsers nowadays. We will consider changing the default value for this option in the future update.
