Hello ActivePresenter Team,
I’d like to suggest a feature that would be extremely useful, especially for large projects that include hundreds of slides and many embedded resources.
When attempting to delete a resource (image, video, audio, etc.) from the Resources pane, the software shows a warning if that resource is still being used — which is great. However, in large projects, it can be very time-consuming to locate exactly where the resource is being used. It could be on a hidden layer, in a slide master, in object states, or buried in animations.
Feature Request:
Could you please add a function that allows users to locate or list all slides and objects where a specific resource is being used?
Something like a “Find Usage” or “Show Resource Locations” option would be incredibly helpful. This would save users hours of manually searching through slides just to safely clean up unused resources.
Thank you for considering this request. Looking forward to future updates!
