The Ask: Please add the ability to pin or freeze a specific object’s row in the Timeline pane — similar to a frozen header row in a spreadsheet — so it stays visible at the top (or bottom) of the Timeline view even while scrolling through other object rows below it.
Why it matters: When syncing voiceover narration to animations on a slide with many objects (text boxes, shapes, closed captions, motion paths, etc.), the audio track’s waveform is the primary visual reference for timing every other effect. But once you expand animations on multiple objects or work on a slide with several rows, the audio row scrolls out of view — forcing constant back-and-forth scrolling just to glance at the waveform while adjusting an animation’s start time elsewhere on the timeline.
A pinned row would let authors:

Keep the audio waveform always in view as a fixed timing reference

Sync animations to specific words/pauses in narration without losing visual context

Work faster on narration-heavy eLearning slides (SOP walkthroughs, multi-object annotated screenshots, etc.) where several objects need to be timed against one continuous voiceover
This would be especially valuable for anyone building narrated training content with dense per-slide object counts — a very common eLearning authoring pattern.
