I would like to request a new interaction/question type for ActivePresenter similar to the “Find the Words” activity available on H5P: https://h5p.org/find-the-words
This type of activity allows learners to search for and select hidden words within a grid, which is especially useful for vocabulary practice, language learning, and concept reinforcement in an engaging format.
It would be great to have a built-in “Word Search / Find the Words” interaction that supports:
Custom word lists
Adjustable grid size and difficulty
Horizontal, vertical, and diagonal word placement
Optional hints or word categories
Scoring and completion tracking for e-learning use
I believe this feature would significantly enhance gamification and interactivity options in ActivePresenter projects.
Thank you for your suggestion. We have noted your feature request and will forward it to our development team for consideration.
In the meantime, you may find the following tutorial useful for creating a word-search style activity in ActivePresenter:
Please note that the example in this tutorial is not exactly the same as the H5P activity you referenced, but it may serve as a helpful workaround and source of inspiration.
Thank you very much for your response and for forwarding the feature request to your development team.
I appreciate the information and the suggested workaround. However, I would like to emphasize that a built-in “Word Search / Find the Words” interaction would be a very valuable addition to ActivePresenter, especially for creating more engaging and interactive e-learning content.
I am really looking forward to seeing this type of question supported in a future update. It would greatly enhance the gamification and learning experience within the platform.
