I’ve been working on customizing object states (for example, a checkbox with different states such as Normal, Hover, and Checked) in my project.
I would like to reuse the same customized states on other similar objects (e.g., other checkboxes) to maintain a consistent design. However, I couldn’t find any option to copy or apply the states from one object to another.
Is there currently a built-in way to duplicate or apply the states of one object to another?
If not, I’d like to suggest this as a feature request:
A function to “Apply States to Other Objects” or “Copy/Paste States” would save a lot of time when working with multiple objects that need consistent state designs.
This functionality would be similar to how we can apply object styles but extended to all custom states (including shapes, colors, and actions).
To save time, I will take an object and apply all the states I need to that object.
Then I duplicate the object.
All the states will be duplicated as well.
So for example, take one checkbox, customize all the states.
Then duplicate to make as many checkboxes as you like.
They will have all the same states as well as state names.
I want to clarify further that there is a built-in way for you to achieve that in ActivePresenter.
First, you can customize the object as you want. Then right-click, choose Set as Default so that all properties of that object will become default from then.
