Export to PowerPoint on Mac

Can’t see icons to export to Mac

Hi, I have AP10 (and 9) and I am needing to export my project to PowerPoint. I see that there is an option to do this in YouTube videos, but when I go to export my project, there are no Microsoft export options. I have office Family installed on a Mac. Is export to PowerPoint Windows only and if so does anyone know any work around?

Hi Steve,

Yes, exporting to Microsoft PowerPoint is currently available on Windows only in ActivePresenter. In both ActivePresenter 9 and 10, the following export features are not supported on macOS:

  • Microsoft Word export

  • Microsoft Excel export

  • Microsoft PowerPoint export

You can refer to our system requirements here for more details: ActivePresenter - System Requirements

At the moment, there is no direct workaround on macOS to export an ActivePresenter project to PowerPoint. However, you can consider using a Windows machine, open your ActivePresenter project on a Windows PC and export it to PowerPoint there.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the prompt reply. Would I need a second licence to put AP on the Windows machine to export it to PowerPoint?

You don’t need a second licence, actually. You can deactivate the licence on your Mac and then activate it on the Windows machine to export your project to PowerPoint.

Regards,
