Is there a way to exclude specific content or tracks from being included when exporting to a video?
I know you can use the eye icons in the main timeline to hide a track from view, but even after doing that, the content still appears in the exported video. Is there a way to fully exclude it instead of deleting it completely?
Hi,
You can right-click an audio track or video > select Export to File to export to a separate file.
In case you don’t want to export audio tracks, you can deselect the Export Audio option in the Export To Video dialog. The exported video won’t included any audio.
Or, if you just want to export a specific part, you can define a range > Split Slide.
Then, right-click the slide with the content you want to export > Save Slide As Video…
BR,
Thank you for your answer. But this is not what I mean.
I want selected elements of the timeline not to be exported. See this picture.
This is expecially good if I have different pictures showing the very same text in multiple languages. And then before if I am exporting the “german” video I unselect the pictures with all the other languages. And if I want to export the “english” version then I am disabling the “geman” picture.
In the preview editor window this works perfect using the eye icons. But later in the video not, since always all pictures are exported to the video.
Please select the objects you dont want to export to video > Properties pane > deselect the Demonstration mode.
By doing so, these objects wont appear in the exported video.

Thank you for your response.
I believe this could be a useful feature for the future. Perhaps an additional icon next to the “eye” and “lock” icons—something like a “disable” icon—could be an option.
Alternatively, and in my opinion, an even better approach would be if using the “eye” icon to make content invisible also affected the output, ensuring that the content remains hidden there as well. This might be a relatively simple change to implement.
Just a thought for you and your team to consider.
Best regards,
Armin
I’ve updated my previous response, @SuperJojo2001
Hope that it provides you with helpful information.

Wow. This worked for me and it exactly what I needed.
Thank you very much

There is one final remark to this topic. While in the final output video the slide is indeed dissapearing, it is still present using the play preview function. This is a little bit irritating if in the preview you see all the deactivated layers overlapping.
Thank you
