Problem: I get the following error message when trying to export a video Error to export video: error to open the output file

ActivePresenter version: Versión 8.5.3 - 64-bit build

OS: Microsoft Windows 10 Enterprise Version 10.0.18363 Compilación 18363

Notes: I installed the ActivePresenter free version, and I reused a project in English, I changed the subtitles for others in Spanish and downloaded a voice from Google Cloud.

I made all the necessary changes and when I want to export it a pop-up message warns me that some features are not available in the free version, that the video will have a watermark. I click on OK and then I get the message mentioned before.

Hi,

Thanks for sharing the files. We have checked and exported your project successfully on our machines. Can you please try exporting to another location like Desktop or using other formats (such as MKV, AVI) to see if problem occurs?

Regarding the watermark message, maybe you have used the cloud text to speech feature which is only available in the paid edition. There was a message stated that when using this feature but your colleague might not notice that.

Thanks for your information.

Some users reported that the problem came from antivirus software like Avast.
It wrongly blocked ActivePresenter from accessing some locations on their computer.

Do you use Avast Antivirus? If so, ActivePresenter may be wrongly blocked by this program.
Please add ActivePresenter to the allowed list of the antivirus software to see if it works.

I am currently using Avast, and I never thought that it could be the cause of the error message. I have already whitelisted ActivePresenter.
