Problem:
Is there any way to download a resource by clicking on a shape or image? We have tried the hyperlink option and the resources tab in the player but these options are not valid for our client.

You can download attached resources using the hyperlink (available for text) or using the Resources tab as you mentioned.
Please make sure you follow the instructions in this video to see if it works:
If it’s not your case, could you please describle your problem in details so we can understand better?
I am not sure about “these options are not valid for our client”.

You can use a trick as in the sample below:
Download_updated.approj (256 KB)
You can customize JavaScript in the On Click event of the shape for your requirements. You need to export your project to HTML5 first then look into the resources folder to get the exact name of the file that you want to allow downloading.
