Hi Afei,
You need to select/detele the number before replacing it with another one (double click the number, for example).

I recommend you report this as a bug, seriously. this is not a normal case.
I think your company make a high-end software, not a low-end,
as a conscience advice from a old programmer.

The Diameter is limited within the range 50 - 400. It doesn’t allow the user to input a value out of this range. When the current value is 100 or 150, typing one more digit will make the value greater than 400 so it’s not possible.
We know that it is not good for user experience but it’s the behavior of the UI control in the framework used to develop Saola Animate.
It should limit the value only when the user completes typing (e.g. pressing Enter, focusing on another control…). We’ll try to improve it this way.

that’s what I want to know.
From the programmer’s standpoint,
restrictions before input are the simplest and most effective.
with my idea, I could replace “5|0” with “|0” to avoid over range,
where “|” stand for user’s input (if it is possible to over my range).
About the user’s experience, Yes,
because the text box control is a beginner’s level practice,
so I am surprise to see this on a “leading software”.

Apply deep background color for selected pane.
(I mean the selected icon’s background color not the pane) - Place new Text element on a “immediately visible area”.
They all mean the same thing, “let user know where they are”.
