Database disk image is malformed

Problem:
After editing, saving, and closing my project, i cant open it again. I get this dialog:

as well as “database disk image is malformed” in the log file.

ActivePresenter version: 8.5.7

OS: Windows 10

If i make each edit and then close and reopen the project inbetween edits, it doesn’t corrupt. But if i do multiple edits and then close/reopen it won’t open.

Hi Meow,

Can you please let us know:

  • Does the issue happen frequently or just with one specific project?
  • If the problem happens frequently, can you please try using the C: drive instead of the P: drive to see if the issue still happens?

so far it has only done it on this project, i will try the C drive thank you
