When I create a shape div, rectangle, square etc and convert that shape to a symbol, the text and images I put in there look blurry on Firefox but look good in Chrome and Edge. Today I found by trial and error, that if I click to put a text on the canvas instead of a “shape”, and I click and drag the text item and make a rectangle and then convert that text to a “symbol” and now I put images and text into that newly created symbol…now the text and images ARE NOT BLURRY in Firefox like they would be if I used a shape as a symbol. ( they look fine in Chrome and Edge, but not Firefox, unless I start by using a text and converting it to a symbol)…Does anyone know why that would be so.
Here is an image showing the difference, the top is done using a text and converting to a symbol and putting text and images in and the bottom is using a rectangle shape and converting to a symbol and putting text and images in. Notice how blurry everything is in the bottom image where a rectangle shape was converted to symbol and how much sharper the top image where text was converted to a symbol and images and text added. The image was taken from Firefox.
Could you please share a portion of your problematic project so that we can investigate further? You can attach it here or send it to support@atomisystems.com.
I got frustrated last night with my project and deleted everything and started over. On the newly created project I can’t produce the same problem again, so far, images and text look in focus in Firefox. I must have done something incorrect in the first project. If it happens again I will save it as a package this time, and upload to this post, thanks for replying. BTW I love this software, I am constantly learning new ways to use it and finding features I had not noticed before.
Thanks for the update! I’m glad to hear your new project is working well and everything looks sharp in Firefox. It sounds like starting over did the trick. If the issue pops up again, just save it as a package and share it with us. We’re here to help. And it’s great to hear you’re enjoying the software and discovering new features!
