Problem: I get a black screen when I’m recording a video being played on the screen. It was working fine until last week. I reinstalled the software with the latest version, rebooted the PC, updated graphics, and nothing works. Please note that everything on the screen gets recorded, except the video being played. That area just stays black.

Solved. It works on Firefox but not in Chrome. Do you know why??
Ahh, Youtube DOES record on Chrome. What is not working on Chrome is the Xfinity Stream Service I use and that was working just one week before

Thanks for letting me know.
I guess the issue is related to the improvements in Chome’s digital content protection. Xfinity attempts to black itself out for the screen capture software to prevent unauthorized recording.
