Apple Rosetta notification appears when launching ActivePresenter

Hello ActivePresenter Support Team,

When I launch ActivePresenter on my Mac, a notification appears in the macOS Notification Center. When I click on this notification, it opens an Apple Support page about Rosetta and Intel-based apps:

It looks like the system is warning about Intel-based compatibility or Rosetta usage.

My Mac is Apple Silicon, and ActivePresenter is installed normally.

Could you please clarify:

  • Why this Rosetta-related notification appears when launching the app

  • Whether ActivePresenter is fully Apple Silicon compatible

  • If there is a Universal (native) version available to avoid this behavior

Thank you for your help.

Best regards,

Hi Alice,

Thank you for your question.

Currently, ActivePresenter does not natively support Apple Silicon and runs via Rosetta to ensure compatibility. This is why newer macOS versions may show a related notification.

Please rest assured that the app still works normally in this mode.

We are planning to support Apple Silicon natively in the future.

Best regards,
Hoa
