'AppLastSessionIncomplete' not working correctly

Problem: ‘AppLastSessionIncomplete’ no longer displays the correct message-box.

ActivePresenter version:10.5

OS: Windows 11

Notes: I have quite a lot of lesson material created in AP version 9 and updated in AP version 10.0. In all of these, I use the ‘AppLastSessionIncomplete’ feature to see if the lesson has already been started and, if so, give the user the chance to continue or restart. The following is the message-box that is displayed to the user:

I have discovered, when I open an AP10.0 compiled version in AP10.5, it converts it to a 10.5 version which cannot be rolled back. Then, without my making ANY changes, this message-box changes to:

This is an incorrect message and does not properly notify the user of their choice. Any suggestions as to why this is happening?

Ian

Hi Ian,

Thank you for reporting this issue.

We tried to reproduce the issue on our side, but the Resume Feedback still appeared correctly after opening and exporting the project in ActivePresenter 10.5.

To help us investigate this further, could you please send us the project files you still have for checking? If possible, please include:

  • The original project created in ActivePresenter 9
  • The project that was edited/saved in ActivePresenter 10.0
  • The project after it was opened/converted in ActivePresenter 10.5

If you no longer have all of these versions, please send us whichever project file(s) are still available.

You can send the files to support@atomisystems.com. We will check and compare them to determine what may have caused the incorrect “Incomplete” message to appear.

Best regards,
Giang

Sorry guys, but I’m going to withdraw this issue. On inspection, I noticed that ‘AppLastSessionIncomplete’ was pointing to an incorrect feedback element and I can not be certain that this was an unspotted error from before.

My apologies for an inconvenience, but thank you for your response and offer of help.

Regards,
Ian
