Analysis multiple choice quizz

Problem: Hi, I have a PPT-Show in Active Presenter with 10 quizzes each 1 question and 3 answers.
How can I finally evaluate these quizzes and present the student his results?

ActivePresenter Version: 8

OS: What is OS? Windows10?

Notes: none

Hi Hajo,

You can evaluate the quizzes by setting Pass/ Fail conditions.
Please take a look at this tutorial to learn more:

To let learners know their result, you can insert a report slide as described in this tutorial:

Hi Yen,
thank you very much, I’ll try to follow the instructions.
Do you know if there is somewhere a tutorial in German available?
Best wishes
Hajo

Hi Hajo,

Thanks for getting back to me!

Unfortunately, there is no German tutorials available.
Our tutorials are writing in very basic English so that users can understand it easily.

Please follow the instructions in the above tutorials. If you have trouble in any step, kindly let us know!

Good morning Yen,
super, it works, thank you.
One last question - at the end in the summary I always find the button “check once more”, if I have passed the test or not.
Is it possible to devide this way? Passed -> next slide, errors -> once more?
I’m very glad that I have found Active Presenter, it’s a powerful tool :-).
Best wishes
Hajo

Hi Hajo,

Do you mean that you want to set the number of attempts that learners can reply to each question?
If so, you can do as follow:

  • Select the answer area of the question

  • Open the Properties pane > Interactivity tab > Score and Reporting > enter the number of attempt in the Attempt combo box:

Hi Yen,

thank you for your answer.

No I have the “problem”, that I don’t get a button “next slide” on the quizzes’ evaluation page. Only a button “once more” that leads me to the first slide.
If I have had mistakes during the show than this makes sense.
But if I have 0 mistakes or full points I should be able to go to the next (last) slide of the course.
This possibility is offered on the 2nd run of the show on the same evaluation page.

Thank you, regards

Hajo

Hi Hajo,

I’m sorry for my misunderstanding
When you add a report slide, it has a Review Course button. This button allows you to go back to the first slide after completing the quiz to help you follow and review all graded questions.

You can add events - actions - conditions to this button as follows:

With the setup like this, there are two possible cases:

  • If learners fail the conditions, when they click on this button, the presentation will go to the first slide to let them review their answers.

  • If learners pass the conditions, when they click on this button, the presentation will go to the next slide.

Yen

Hi Yen,
super fine, thank you for this helpful answer, I will include it this evening.
Then my first e-learning will be complete and perefect :-).

Hi Yen,

super again, it works fine.

(Last ;-)) question, can I have influence on the text which is shown in the variable %apQuizPassed%?

E.g. “Hey super, congratualtions” or alternative “Please check your answers on the questions again”.

Thank you in advance, best

Hajo

Hi Hajo,

Yes, it’s possible to do that.
Please take a look at the events - actions section in the report slide of the attached project:
English Quizzes.approj (3.6 MB)

You can review the project in HTML5 ouput to see how it works and apply the same setting for your project.

Should you have any further questions, kindly let me know!

Yen

Hi Yen,

once more thank you, perfect.

Best regards

Hajo

Hi Yen,
one more question…
Is it possible to send the quizz results via email to me?
So I know exactly if the learner has passed the test or not.
Thank you in advance.
Best regards
Hajo
