If you select the add/remove anchor, the cursor changes to a pen tool with - or + when you hover over freeform anchor points or the lines between anchor points.
If you press the shift key and click on an anchor point, it deletes it with the Selection tool, but the cursor remains an arrow, so there is no warning. If this is a feature, what is the shortcut key to add an anchor point (+) with the selection tool? It speeds up the design process because you are toggling between tools with a keyboard shortcut, but I can’t find the shortcut key in the help file.
