ActivePresenter audio editing problems

Problem: Audio lags, delays, then “not responding” crashing every time I try to edit a screen recording thru ActivePresenter

I tried chopping it up and using shorter pieces of the recording per file, and it doesn’t matter if the video is 90 minutes long or only 9 minutes long. It delays audio every time. The audio playback doesn’t start until the video has been playing for a second or two, then the audio doesn’t line up with the video nor the waveforms so I can’t see where to cut.

If I export the file, the resulting vid and audio is perfectly synced. It’s just during editing

ActivePresenter version: 10

OS: Windows 11

  • The project file where the issue occurs
