Hi Sarah,

Yes, it will be supported in version 9 which is expected to be available in the next few months.
However, on Windows, it is only available if one of the following conditions satisficed:

  • A GPU which supports encoding this codec. (AMD or NVIDIA)
  • HEVC Video Extensions is installed.

Supporting Intel GPUs is still on our roadmap.
