Webcam video recording fade in and out multiple times?

Hi,
I have recorded webcam for a number of slides in my presentation. In some cases I would like the video component to fade in at the beginning of the slide, then fade out, and then, later in the slide, fade back in again, just to provide emphasis at particular times during the slide duration.
How do I do this? It seems the animation option only allows an object to fade in and then fade out once, rather than having these options available at multiple times in the timeline.
