I have recorded screen capture and webcam simultaneously but I would like to only show certain sections of the webcam during the video. How can I manage the portion of the video editing to show only the sections I want from the webcam but still remain synced to the screen capture video?
I have tried cut, delete and other buttons but it only moves the webcam video back and out of sync.
Please help.

You can use the Split Audio/ Video Objects button to split your webcam video into different parts:
Then, you can delete the unwanted part in the Timeline pane:
