Webcam is not loaded after recording

After video recording the webcam video cannot be loaded:

Any idea to solve this

Hi Born,

You can find the webcam video in the ActivePresenter Cached folder (C:\Users\Username\Documents\ActivePresenter.ActivePresenterCachedProjects). Then, you can create a new project and insert the webcam video into it.

In case you cannot find it, I am afraid that there is no way to recover.

Besides, please kindly share the log file so we can check? To view the log:

In Start Page, click Preferences (the Gear icon)
Select Miscellaneous.
Click View Log.

Hello,
I am working on a Mac.
There is actually no MKV file from the Webcam, see image:

But my problem is: I get this error message every time.
I tried to remove the whole ActivePresenter directory. When its is recreated on the new application start a .ActivePresenterCachedProjects folder is not even created when I do a video recording. All the other files are in temp, see image:

I think, the webcam file is either written to a different place or not written at all.
How can I set the tempdir directory to a different path?

Hi Born,

According to the log, ActivePresenter could not get any video frames from the camera.
It seems to be a device-specific problem since it still works well in our tests.
Unfortunately, we could not find out the solution for this problem yet.
If possible, please upgrade to a higher version of macOS to see if it helps.
