Videos imported are darker

Problem: When importing a video, the video becomes darker (oddly except for the first frame). It remains dark even after exporting. To be clear, it’s darker both inside ActivePresenter AND inside the exported video.

ActivePresenter version: 9.0.0.

OS: Windows

Notes: Already tried checking and unchecking "Use JPEG colors range (full range) when exporting video

Hi,

This problem may happen with hardware options. So, please try out the ways below:

  • Deselect the option: Use software rendering instead of GPU rendering
  • Deselect the option: Always use software decoders for decoding video

Besides, it is also related to Use JPEG color range when exporting video. Selecting this option often leads to brighter colors.

Hey, thanks for answering.
The two options you instructed to deselect, weren’t selected in the first place.
Also tried to export while they’re selected, nothing works.
