Problem: A couple days ago I recorded almost an hour of footage, only for the app to crash and not save it, thank God it all got saved into the cached projects folder. That was supposed to be one half of a video and today I recorded the other half. But just now I checked the cached projects folder and it’s all gone! I checked just a few hours earlier and it was still there but now it’s gone. The audio and everything. Is that normal? Do cached project folders get thrown out after a day or two?
This normally happens in the older version of ActivePresenter.
The cached project folders will be deleted when you close the app.
From version 8.1 and later, the cached project folder remains.
Also, I recorded the footage a few days before it was deleted, it was there for all those days and even about an hour before it disappeared, I checked the cached projects folder and it was still there. Any idea on what could have happened or if it’s possible to retrieve the footage from some other folder?
