Version 8.0.4 (Released: 2020.03.25) never finishes converting video

Problem: After upgrading to 8.0.4 today, exporting to video no longer works (tried AVI and MP4). Progress bar goes to about 97% then stops, takes one CPU core/thread (so 25% of a 8thread CPU), process can be cancelled on the exporting popup, so it’s not frozen.
Tried with very short captured video (< 15s).
Worked fine until yeaterday with previous version.

ActivePresenter Version: Version 8.0.4 (Released: 2020.03.25).

OS: Windows 10 1809

Notes:

Hi Joao,

We could not reproduce the issue in our tests. Can you please share the log of ActivePresenter so we can check? To view the log, click ActivePresenter > Preferences > Miscellaneous > View Log.
And, please try exporting a project without video objects to see if it works.

Regards,

Thank you Dao,

Here’s the log for an attempt to export a ~22s capture (I cancelled it after it hung for a couple of minutes):

If I export a project containing only slides to a video (same configuration) it works fine.

Again, all was working before the last update.

best regards,

I have exactly the same problem. Works fine in the previous version.

Thanks for reporting the problem. We will check and try to fix it soon.

Regards,

Hi Joao,
Hi FredrikG,

Since we can not reproduce the issue in our tests. To make sure, can you please help us to check with the temporary version at https://drive.google.com/file/d/1EDAvtjeBtL9YybA-qM-ZEyNINYvJeApc/view?usp=sharing to see if it works?

Thanks & Regards,

Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to do the trick.
I made a very short test project if you want to try to reproduce the problem with it:

Hi Fredrik,

I’ve just requested the permission to access your project, please accept it.

Regards

You should have access now

Thank you, we’re checking the issue.

Hi Fredrik,

I am sorry for bothering you again.
We were able to reproduce the issue with your project but with different export setttings. To make sure the fixed problem is the same as yours, can you please help us to check again with this version to see if works: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1R5hgMztAW1b4Q3A7i9ljGoCzIXKaZp90/view?usp=sharing?
Thanks for your pattience.
