I have just upgraded from version 7.0 to 7.1, and the output files are huge! For instance, I have a project that produces a 6 minute mp4 video that was 35,500KB in version 7.0. In version 7.1, that same (unchanged) project produces a video that is 71,400KB! This is unacceptable for our need to have the videos available on our website with the smallest footprint possible.

We have made no changes in video compression between two versions. But please be aware that if you export the project on Windows 7, the output file size will be larger than exporting on Windows 10 due to the limitation of operating system. If it is not your case, please share the project file and its external data folder named in the pattern PROJECT_FILE_files if any so we can check. If the files are large, you can upload them to a cloud storage site such as Google Drive, then send the link to us.
