Text-to-Speech so many Audio files

Problem: I have a presentation where I’m using Text-to-Speech and have made a number of changes to the text – each time creating a new WAV file, there are now 33 WAV Audio File ranging in size from 66.000 KB to 71,000 KB totalling 2.16 GB – are all these files needed or just the most recent.

Is there an option to over-write the WAV file as opposed to creating so many new one?
