In this context, shapes consisting of triangles, circles and squares need to be dragged to the table in the middle and their color changed according to the card layout on the right. However, we encounter a problem like this. When we change the color of the shape on the left and place it in the table, the total variable increases by 1. However, when we place the shape in the table and change its color, the total variable does not increase by 1. There is no feedback due to this problem. How can I solve this problem? I sent the project to support@atomisystems.com so you can review it. @Hang @gregs
Hi Cemile,
Could you clarify how you’d like to increase the variable? For example, should each shape dragged into the table add 1 point, with the maximum score being 9, or something similar?
After dragging the object to the table, its color should be changed by clicking and the score should increase by 1 and the total score should be 9.
Thanks for your clarification.
We’ll look into this and get back to you tomorrow.
thank you for your help.
@cemileyavuz - I do not have access to the email where you sent the project as I am just a user like you.
My apologies if I do not fully understand.
With the shapes and colors - is there a correct response? Should only we increase the score if circles are red or squares are green for example or do we increase the score when any color is set to the shape when it is on the table?
Are we allowed to change the color multiple times or should the ability to change colors for a shape be disabled after it is selected the first time?
I have an idea that sets a variable when you start to drag the shape and that disables the shape after it is accepted so that it cannot be dragged again. This prevents setting the shape color multiple times. After the shape is accepted - you can set the color one time and increment the score to a max of 9.
Are there any other mechanics of the activity?
Hi Greg,
If you send me your e-mail address, I can share my project with you.
Please see the sample file I left for you.
I hope this functionality matches what you hoped to achieve.
Hi Cemile,
I’ve sent the project via email, please check it out to see if it meets your needs.
Thanks Greg for your enthusiastic support as always!

Hi Hang,
That’s exactly what I wanted. Thank you for your help. Can you make a 4x4 version of this?

I’ve already provided step-by-step instructions for creating the project via email. Based on that, you should be able to create the 4x4 version on your own.
