[Solved] Add notes to timeline

Is there a way to add notes to specific times on a timeline? Notes that don’t appear in the final exported output. Things like “todo: narrate this part” and stuff like that.

If there’s no direct way, is there a decent “hack” that anybody likes to use to keep track of internal notes?

Hi,

ActivePresenter does not officially support this feature, but you can still stay within the app to add notes to a specific time on the timeline by using the following workaround:

  • Add a shape/text caption to a specific time on the Timeline pane (Insert tab > Shapes/Text Caption).

  • Rename it (Properties pane > Interactivity tab > General > Name).

  • Deselect all the 4 modes in the Show In Mode section (Properties pane > Size & Properties tab > Show In Mode).
