# So enjoying Active Presenter!

I took a chance during the Black Friday sales and bought Active Presenter, and I’m so glad I did!

I know this isn’t what it’s intended for, but I’m using Active Presenter to rebuild my website, and I’m having _so much fun!_

I used to work on multimedia presentations in Macromedia Director, and it feels like this kind of freeform presentation-building software has been abandoned as a category, but AP is so powerful, mature, and well-thought-out.

Thank you so much to the developers for making this brilliant communication platform. I’m excited and inspired about doubling down and focusing on building with it this year.

Totally agree, and glad you’ve been tempted.

I’ve been using Adobe Captivate for years, but the cost became prohibitive for the amount of use I was getting out of it. I’ve transferred to AP and not looked back.

The support you get from the guys and the community is second to none… unlike Adobe.

@kevin1 - Now if only more Captivate users would become aware of ActivePresenter and make the switch. I was also a longtime Captivate user. Adobe did us all dirty with the remake.

ActivePresenter should be holding way more market share than it currently does.
