I set my screen preferences, project size, 24001347 (fits my monitor)
Recording settings the same 24001347
Start recording and a popup appears saying, ‘The recording size is different from the project size. Do you want to continue?’
I continue, when I finish recording the capture is smaller with black edges on two sides.
I go to Design and then to slide size, I set the preset size as 2400*1347 then ok, does nothing, can you please help me

Most of video codecs require that the width & height resolution must be even numbers. So to avoid errors when encoding the video, ActivePresenter automatically just width & height of recording area to the closest even number.
Your screen height (1347) is an odd number! Please avoid creating project size with odd width or height.
